PRNs
The UK has specific regulations covering the recycling and recovery of business packaging. Under these regulations, any business handling more than 50 tonnes of packaging a year, and with a financial turnover in excess of £2 million, has a recycling and recovery obligation which is strictly monitored by the Environment Agency.

We will calculate how many Packaging Recovery Notes (PRN) you need to fulfil your packaging obligation and will buy these on your behalf.
A PRN is a type of voucher which shows that packaging waste has been reprocessed. Companies that need to comply with Producer Responsibility regulations must use PRNs as these are the only form of evidence accepted by the Environment Agency to prove that recycling or recovery of packaging has taken place.
